How To - Enable 2 Factor (MFA) Authentication For Your Office365 Account
Open www.ofice.com in a web browser like Chrome or Edge and login with you username and password
Username : person@horizondistributors.com
Password : Your Email Password (the same as your workstation password )
From The top right corner, click on your face picture or initials and then select VIEW ACCOUNT

Select SECURITY INFO and Click on Update Info

In SECURITY INFO click on Add SIGN IN METHOD +

4- Select AUTHENTICATOR APP

Download the Microsoft Authenticator app from the app store that corresponds to the users phone. iPhones use the Apple App Store and other phones will use Google Play - search for "Microsoft Authenticator"


Scan the QR code (but not this code) that will be displayed on the computer screen by using the phone Authenticator app to take a photo of the QR code. Each QR code will be different per user.

When the Authenticator app on your phone is linked to your Office365 account, you will be prompted to answer logins with a 2 digit number which is typed in on the phone
