How To Manage Office365 File Permissions
Your department files in Office365 are usually available to all members in your Team. Office365 allows you to grant certain permission (e.g, read, write) to a file or folder (within your department drive) to specific member in your team. Share File/ Folder with specific people
Step 1: Open the file or folder in SharePoint that you want to share

Step 2: Select “Manage Access” for selected file/folder from SharePoint
OR

Step 3: Select “Share” to give full (Edit and View) or Partial (View) permission to the Horizon User
Step 4: Select
if you want to choose among all people in Horizon Distributor / People with existing default access / Specific people.
You can choose those people with full permission (Edit and View). Make sure “Allow Editing” field is enabled for shared file/folder feature. Enter any name/Horizon Group in the name field.

If you choose those people with full (Edit and View), either select Copy shared link and paste into an Outlook email. Please make sure, prompt message says, “People in Horizon Distributors with the link can edit” before sending the shared link.

Or you can send invitation from Outlook if you do not want to share the link

If you choose those people with Partial (Only View/Read only file), disable Allow Editing field and then click “Apply”.
You can Copy shared link with Read-only option and paste into an Outlook email. Please make sure that the prompt message says, “People you specify can view” before sending the link or Read-Only file invitation.

Step 5: If you want to add more people to existing partial access/Read-only option, select the file, click to Manage access, click to “More Option”. Make sure, Link setting says, “Can view” for Read-Only option, add people in “Specify people for this link” field.
If you want to delete any people, click the “X” beside any person’s name.


Step 6: If you want to cancel all permission, go to “Manage access” for selected File/Folder and click Stop Sharing
