How To - Force AD To Sync Immediately With Office365
- Login to the virtual machine labeled as W2K16Duo - log in as either ITSupport2 or 4, try to avoid logging in as DomainAdmin
- Open PowerShell as an Administrator
- Type in Import-Module ADSync press enter
- Type in Start-ADSyncSyncCycle -PolicyType Delta press enter
- The output should show "Success"
This will immediately sync any changes to user accounts in Active Directory with Office365 and is useful when creating new users or when changing something on a large number of users
