Horizon Sonicwall VPN Setup Guide - NetExtender Client
The SonicWall Mobile Connect app that was available from the free Microsoft Store, is no longer being supported by SonicWall. The only supported VPN client available is NetExtender. The NetExtender client is available as an optional install for most device groups in InTune. You will have to configure the NetExtender client manually.
Use the hostname of hd.horizondistributors.com:4433 don't include the "https"
Use the short AD username kermitthef don't add on the @horizondistributors.com
Use the AD password something don't save the VPN password in the client
Use the NetBIOS name for domain horizon yes that is correct, don't include .com just horizon in lower case letters
Installation
First download the SonicWall NetExtender Client from the following link.
Follow the default settings when installing NetExtender until you get to the "Default Profile Setting" page and enter the following:
Default Server: hd.horizondistributors.com:4433
Default Domain: horizon
Then keep following the default settings for the rest of the installation. Finally you will get to the login screen where you will enter your username and password:
It will prompt you for your Multifactor Authentication temporary password. You will then see the following screen when you log in successfully:
