How To - Connect To Iptor And HTools When Working From Home These instructions apply to staff that are working from home or out of the office with a Horizon owned workstation or a staff owned device. Don't connect to the VPN as that is no longer needed for accessing Iptor and the HTools website from home or out of the office Go to https://www.office.com and click the Sign In button - use your Horizon email address and password (aka your Office365 credentials) You must have the Microsoft Authenticator app AND the Duo Authenticator app on your cell phone and you must answer the MFA prompt which should be a 2 digit number on your cell phone Login as HORIZON.COM\PersonX ---> first name and first letter of your last name and your password below that You will next see the list of RemoteApps that are available and if you click on them, the browser will download a badly named RDP file that can be saved on to your desktop and renamed as something like HorizonWFH-Iptor or anything else that describes the saved file as being able to open Iptor or HTools when working at home. Once the RDP file is downloaded as saved, you can double click on it to start the authentication process The next window shows the legal disclaimer and users can checkmark the “I understand and agree to this policy” checkbox. The next thing that will happen is the DUO app on their phone will prompt for MFA so staff will need to have the app open and ready when they login each day Next the Iptor client will start or the HTools (in Edge) will open. If the user needs both, repeat the steps above to save the RDP file that is downloaded to the desktop and rename it so that staff can understand that one opens Iptor and the other opens HTools After this initial login, only steps 9-13 are needed daily, the user does NOT need to go to the Office365 portal and login and save a new RDP file each day
